Producing crystal clear images that are simply unrivaled, they can detect man-sized targets at ranges from 5km to 17km. Operating in the 3- 5 micron spectral region, they utilize advanced cooled photo detector technology in a 320 x 256 InSb, 30 micron pitch focal plane array. Housed in self-contained, nitrogen backfilled and environmentally sound enclosure, there optical systems are protected with a diamond-like hard carbon coating designed for use in the harshest of conditions. Interior elements utilize extremely efficient anti-reflection coatings that provide outstanding transmission in all environments.
These systems can also be configured with optional laser rangefinder, optional laser illuminator and/or designator for long range target location. Mounted on a 360° pan/tilt platforms, they can also be configured with visible cameras with optical and digital zoom.
